The first construction on MidAmerican’s Beaver Creek Windpark is slated to begin the Friday according to Greene County zoning coordinator Chuck Wenthold.
Work will begin on a construction yard east of Dana at the southeast corner of the intersection of County Road E-26 (the Dana pavement) and P-46.
Once the construction yard is completed, crews will begin cutting roads into the individual turbine sites.
Construction on the actual turbines is on schedule for July. Delivery of the turbine components will begin then.
